• Annual meeting of experts in industrial communication technology from all over the world (Europe, USA, South America, China, Japan, Korea, South Africa)
• This year in Dubai May 2-5, 2023, last year in Berlin, next year in the USA
• Lectures and workshops on new Industrial Ethernet technologies and current developments, working group AUT is regularly represented
• Working group AUT develops the software that is used worldwide to certify and test devices.
• This software was presented in the lecture
• The workshop showed how this software can be used for different purposes
• Hands-on, it was shown how this software can be used for complex investigations in the Ethernet environment.
Seminar "Industry 4.0 - Efficient networking of decentralized intelligence"
Amberg, Germany & OnlineThe ISAC sub-project of the AUT working group is investigating how industrial-grade “low-cost” solutions can be used for this purpose. It is shown how this is made possible by connecting decentralized systems to higher-level IT structures and which technologies are used for this. An outlook on future developments is given. Results from the “ISAC@OTH-AW” research project will be presented.

Amberg, GermanyAs part of the development of certification tests for high availability, aia hosted a Plugfest at the East Bavarian Technical University of Applied Sciences in Amberg on 21 February, 2018.
Manufacturers of Profinet devices met to test their latest developments. The focus was upon devices with high availability, such as those required in the process industry.

Beijing, ChinaAt the invitation of the PROFIBUS PROFINET Nutzer Organisation e.V., aia held a workshop on the certification of PROFINET devices. In addition to the Chinese testing laboratories, the workshop was also attended by testing laboratories and companies from Asia, the USA and Europe.
PROFINET Automated RT Tester Workshop

Demonstrator Real Ethernet
Detroit, USAIn cooperation with the university, aia has developed a real-time Ethernet demonstrator, which has now been presented and exhibited internationally several times, e.g. at the SAE conference on real-time Ethernet in Detroit, USA, and at the IEEE Ethernet & IP @ Automotive Technology Day in Yokohama, Japan.
